2015 State of Search Marketing Report
SEMPO just completed the 10th Annual SEMPO State of Search Marketing Report 2015, in conjunction with Third Door Media (Publisher of Search Engine Land and Marketing Land). The survey is a continuation of SEMPO’s annual tracking of digital marketing trends including Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click Advertising, Social Media Marketing and other digital channels. The survey is unique in that it captures and segments data relevant for both marketers/clients and agencies. This edition includes focus on:
- Digital channels utilized and changes in investment by channel/property
- Ability to measure return-on-investment (ROI) by channel/property
- Technology and tools utilized to manage channels/properties
- Resource/Personnel allocation and/or fees paid to third parties to manage channels/properties
- Prioritization of challenges in managing channels/properties
In return for having taken the survey, you will get access to a free, advance copy of the in-depth report, normally worth $400, when the report is published. As always, all members can access as part of their member benefits. Participants were also eligible to win a new iPad 3, courtesy of SEMPO or a FREE All-access pass to SMX West in San Jose, March 3-5, 2015. The winners will be announced soon.

The last report was conducted by SEMPO in November 2013, and the survey was completed by over 400 advertisers and agency respondents. SEMPO and Econsultancy promoted the survey to their respective members, offering a complimentary copy of the report as the incentive for taking part.
