SEMPO APAC committee originally started as SEMPO Asia committee in 2005 to represent the organization in Asian market. As we grew the membership base and activities in surrounding markets, it was re-named as SEMPO APAC committee in 2009.
SEMPO APAC plans, organizes and conducts SEMPO activities in APAC region to grow the membership and the awareness of the Digital Marketing Industry, as well as to provide the support to working groups under SEMPO APAC. Currently the committee has members from China, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Jakarta, Australia and US. Many of them are highly regarded industry professionals in their market, and are frequent speakers at local industry events.
Initiatives, News & Updates - Asia Pacific Events/Sponsorship Opportunities Available
SEMPO APAC is holding a series of events in Asia Pacific this November. If you and your company is currently involved, or plan to target the region in near future, this is an excellent opportunity for you to network, create local contacts, understand the markets, and influence businesses in the region.
China: 8th November in Guangzhou
India: 30th November in Bangalore, and January (date TBD) in Mumbai
Australia: 10th December in Sydney (Meetup only)
Singapore: 16th January
Each event takes 4-6 hours. We will have both local and International speakers.

Through our partnership with industry conferences such as SES, SMX, ad:tech and other local events in the region, SEMPO members in APAC region receive additional benefits including a discount for registration fees.
The Committee will continue to provide useful information to help foster the growth of the industry via its participation in relevant industry events in all of APAC. This group has sub-groups: SEMPO Japan, SEMPO India, SEMPO Singapore and SEMPO Greater China. SEMPO Australia is to be established in early 2011.
